Abstract:Aiming attheproblems of low seeding qualificationrateandpoor consistencyof furrow opening depth of 2BXS -1 (204号 maize planter in Yunnan mountainousareas,the seeddischarger,furrow opener and soil covering devicewere optimized and improvedon the basis of the original machine.The hoe-shovel type furrow opener was chosenas the seed and fertilizer distributionfurrow opener,and the sed guide tube and mulching plate were added.By measuring the physicalcharacteristics parameters of thethree commonlyused maize seed kernelsin Yunnan,namely“KENFENG 670” “KENFENG 909”and“KENYU 999”,the appropriate radius of the scoop wheel disk,the radius of spoon hole and the number of seed spoons were improved and designed.Then,using the thre corn varieties as the testobjects,with the spoon nest radius and spoon wheel discspeedas thetest factors,and the qualifiedsowing rate,leakagerate andreplanting rateas theevaluationindexes,a single-factorbench test wascariedout.Theresults showedthattheradius of the spoon nests suitable for the three maize varieties of “KENFENG 6709 "KENFENG 909′′ and“KENYU 999”were (2号 6.8mm , 5.3mm and 6.3mm ,respectively,and the operating speed were 2.4km/h and 3.6km/h ,the seeding qualification rate was maintained at more than 90% ,and the leakage rate and reseeding rate were both less than 5% .When the operating speed was 2.4km/h ,the stability coefficient of furrowing depth of the machine reached 91.13% ,the sowing qualification rate of“Kenfeng 9o9”maize seed grain with 5.3mm spoon nest radius spoon wheel disc was 92.4% ,the leakage rate was 3.91% ,the reseeding rate was 3.69% ,and the grain spacing coefficient of variation was 3.62% , which satisfied the agronomic requirements of corn sowing in hilly and mountainous areas of Yunnan.
