Abstract：Agriculturalmechanizationisacoresymbolof modernagricultural development，playinganimportantrolein enhancing theresilienceof theagricultural industrychainandpromotinghigh-qualityagriculturaldevelopment.Usingthe paneldataof31 provincialadministrativeregions in Chinese mainlandfrom 20l2 to2023，this paperempiricallexplores theimpactandmechanismofagricultural mechanizationontheresilienceofagriculturalindustrychain byusing thetwo-way fixedefectmodelandtheintermediaryefectmodel.The benchmarkregressonresultsindicate thatagricultural mechanizationhasa significantpromotingeffectontheresilienceof theagricultural industrychain，whichhaspassed variousrobustness testsincluding instrumental variable methods.Theresultsof theintermediaryregression indicate that thimprovementofagricultural productioneficiencyandtheenhancementofdisasterreductionandresistancecapabilitiesin farmlandare important pathways for agricultural mechanizationtopromote theresilienceof theagricultural industrychain. Theheterogeneityanalysisresultsindicatethattheimpactofagricultural mechanizationontheresilienceofthe agriculturalindustrychain variesindiferentregions，withtheorderofefectbeing，easternregion，Northeastregion， Northwest region，Central region，Southwestregion；northernregion，Southernregion.Thisstudy provides strong empiricalsupportand strategic guidance forthe highqualitydevelopmentand modernizationtransformationof agriculture in China，andhasimportanttheoreticalandpractical significanceforoptimizingagriculturalresource alocation， improving agricultural production eficiency，and enhancing the resilience of the agricultural industry chain.
