Abstract:Vegetablegrafting,asacrucial cultivationtechniqueforenhancing cropstressresistance,improving quality, andincreasingyield,hasbeenwidelyadoptedinprotectedvegetableproduction.Withthecontinuousexpansionof industrializedsedling production,traditional manualgraftingcannolonger meetthedemandsofmodernagriculturalsystemsin termsofeffiency,laborintensity,andconsistencyofgraftingquality.Consequently,theresearchandapplicationof vegetablegraftingmachineshavebecomeafocalpointbothdomesticallyandinternationallyThisreviewsummarizesthe development statusofvegetable grafting equipment inrecent years,withaparticularemphasisoncomparingthe structural characteristics,automationlevels,andoperationalperformanceofsemi-automaticandfullyautomaticgraftingmachines.It systematicalloutlinescommonlyused grafting methods for Solanaceaeand Cucurbitaceae seedlings along with theiradaptability tomechanization.Furthermore,itconsolidatesresearchprogressinkeytechnologies,includingsedlingtransport, clamping,cutting,andjoining.Thecurentlimitationsofgrafting machines—suchasinadequateautomation,poor seedlingadaptability,limitedeconomicviability,andinsufficientintegrationofagriculturalmachinerywithagronomic practices—are alsohighlighted.Finall,thefuturedevelopmenttrendsofvegetablegrafting equipment,basedonmachine visionandartaleligeeptigialnyndtelinttoleropedoin the optimized design and industrial promotion of grafting systems.
