Abstract:GarlicisanimportanteconomiccropinChina.Withthecontinuousadvancementoflarge-scalegarliccultivation promotedbythestate,thegarlicindustryisshowingatrendoftransformationfromlabor-intensivetowholeprocess mechanization.This papersystematicallyreviews the research status of garlicplanting patterns,key technologies and equipment for mechanized production in China,focusing on elaborating theresearch progressof mechanized technologies and equipment in key links of the garlic production process,such asclove breaking and grading,sowing,garlicbolt harvesting,andgarlic bulb harvesting.Italsoanalyzesand summarizes theproblems existinginthewhole-processmechanizedproductionof garlic,including insuficienttechnicaladaptability,unsatisfactory operating performance,and shortcomings in equipment quality and market development,and puts forward suggestions to promote thedevelopment of garlic wholeprocessmechanization,including formulating and popularizing machine-adapted planting modelsandstandards,accelerating theresearch and developmentof key mechanized technologiesand equipment,and strengthening the demonstration and promotion eforts.The purpose isto provide references for the optimization and upgrading of garlic production equipment and the development of the industry.
