Abstract:Thestabilityaharvestingdronedecreaseswhenitsloadchanges suddenly,suchas whenit picks fruit,due to externalfactors like windwithin the tree canopy.Variations in thesurrounding wind fieldare the primarycause thesestabilityfluctuations.Theree,understingthetransientchanges inthewindfieldaroundthedroneisessential improving itsstabilityduring harvesting.Inthis study,thewindfieldaroundthedronewas simulatedusing theLatice Boltzmann Method(LBM) combined with Large Eddy Simulation (LES), the results were validated through an experimentalplatm.Thesimulationresultsshowedthattheairflowbeneathahovering harvestingdrone remained stable,providing consistent lift.However,astheharvesting droneappoachedthe fruittree,itsflight efficiency decreased. Nevertheless,when the harvesting distance was between 0.4m 0.6m ,the influence canopy windonthe harvestingdronebecame minimal.During harvesting,theairflow aroundthefront rotorschangedfirst,which thenaffectedtheairflowdemationtherear rotor,ultimatelyreducing overallstability.The maximum error between the simulation results the test experiment results was 9.7% ,the simulation results this study fell within the experimental marginerror,providingareliablereferenceimprovingcontrol strategiesoptimizing the aerodynamic permance harvesting drones.
