[Abstract]Objective：To explore the influencing factors and control countermeasures of unqualified microbial specimens.Method： A total of 110 specimens of Yichun People's Hospital were selected from January to December 2024，allof which were specimen tested.Theuqualified microbiological specimens were analyzed，the influencing factors of unqualified specimens were analyzed，and corresponding control measures were proposed. Result： Of the 110 specimens in this study，34 cases were found to be unsatisfactory，with a failure rate of 30.91% （34/110），of which 14 cases of sputum specimens were unsatisfactory，accounting for 41.18% ; 9 cases of urine specimens，accounting for 26.47% ; 8 cases of blood specimens，accounting for 23.53% ； 1 case of secretion specimens，accounting for 2.94% and2cases of others，accounting for5.88 % .Theremaining76 casespassed the test，witha pass rate of 69.09% Thirty-four unqualified specimens were included in theunqualified groupand76qualified specimens were included in the qualified group. The unqualified group had higher non-standard specimen collction，specimen transport， specimen processing，and specimen testing than the qualified group （ P <0.05）. logistic regression analysis showed that the non-standard specimen collection，specimen transport，specimen processing，and specimen testing were all the independent risk influences on specimen testing unqualified （ P <0.05）. Conclusion： The unqualified rate of microbial specimens is relatively high，and among the diffrent specimen types of microbiological specimen failure，sputum specimen is the mainone，and the processes of specimen collction，specimen transportation， specimen processing， and specimen testing maylead to specimen failure，and the relevant departments should take relevant measures in time for the above factors in order to minimize the failure of the specimen.
