Application Effect of Immunoglobulin Combined with Azithromycin in ChildrenwithPertussis/DU Liangzhong,LIAO Aihua,HUANGWensheng,XIE Haiyan.//Medical Innovationof China,2025,22(30): 014-017

[Abstract] Objective:To analyze the effcts of Immunoglobulin combined with Azithromycin on spastic cough improvement and immunoglobulin indexes inchildren with pertussis.Method:A total of 8O children with pertussisadmited to the Second Afiliated Hospital of Gannan Medical University from January 2O21 to December 2023 were selected as the research subjects and randomly divided into two groups, with 4O cases in each group. The control group was treated with Azithromycin,while the study group was treated with Immunoglobulin on the basisof thecontrol group.Theclinicaleficacy,levelsof inflammatory factors,levelsof immunoglobulin,time for disappearance time of symptoms and signs,and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Result:Before treatment,there were no statisticallysignificant differences in IL-4,IL-6,TNF- α ,IgA, IgG,IgM between the two groups (P>0.05) ).After treatment,thelevelsof IL-4,IL-6and TNF- α in the study group were lower than those in the control group,while IgA,IgG and IgM were higherthan those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant P<0.05, .The disappearance time of all symptoms and signs in the study group were earlierthan those in thecontrol group,and the total efective rate was higher than thatin the control group,the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05) .There wasno statisticallysignificant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups ( (P>0.05) .Conclusion:Immunoglobulin combined with Azithromycinhasabettertherapeutic effectonchildren with pertusis,itcanacceleratetherecovery,enhance immunefunction,improvethelevelsofinflammatoryfactors,andhasasafetysimilar tothatofAzithromycinalone.
