[Abstract] Objective： To analyze the effect holistic nursing combined with psychological nursing under safety management on senile dementia patients.Method： According to the random number table method， 82 seniledementia patientsadmited toJi'anThird People's Hospitalfrom May2O22 to May2O24 weredivided into the control group（given routine nursing）and the study group （given holistic nursing combined with psychological nursing under safety management）， with 41 cases in each group.The occurrence adverse events，the mini-mental state examination （MMSE），Cornell scale fordepression indementia （CSDD），rating anxiety in dementia （RAID）， Pitsburgh sleepquality index （PSQI），and activities daily living scale （ADL） were observed in the two groups. Result： The PSQI scores the study group after 1，2 ，3 months intervention were lower than those the control group （ P<0.05 ）.The incidence adverse events in the study group was lower than that in the control group （ P <0.05）. The CSDDand RAID scores the study group after 3 months intervention were lower than those the control group P<0.05） .The MMSE score the study groupafter1，2，3 months intervention were higher than those the control group （P<0.05） .The scores each item in the ADL the study group after 3 months intervention were higher than those the control group （P<0.05） . Conclusion： Holistic nursing combined with psychological nursing under safety management can improve the cognitive function and daily living ability senile dementia patients and relieve negative emotions.
