【Abstract】This paper elaborates in depth on the causes of the generator magnetic pole burnout fault,the influence ofthefaultonthegenerator,andthediagnosticmethods(magneticpoleacousticdiagnosis method,infrared thermal imagingdetectionmethod,vibration detectionmethod,electromagneticsignal detectionmethod),andproposes comprehensivefault prevention measures(improved design,material and process improvement,forging process control).By means of the finite element simulation of the magnetic pole forging process,the processparameters of the production process were optimized,and the scrap rate ( 15% )wasreduced. The importance of simulation technology in improving thereliabilityand performance of magneticpoleswasconfirmed,providing atheoretical basisand practical reference forpreventing magneticpoleburnoutfaults,optimizing theproduction process of magnetic poles,and improving the performance of magnetic poles.
