【Abstract】Methanol，as a renewable and green energy source，shows its advantages whenused as vehicle fuel. It cannot onlyreduce pollutant emisions，decrease relianceon petroleum，cutvehicle usage costs，but also ffectively promote sustainable development.However，toapply methanolto automobiles，the entirevehicle's fuel system needs to bemodified，andadopting a dual-fuel suppysystem isa common approach.Thearticle takes the dual-fuel supply system of Geely Automobileas an example.This system includes components such as ECMandcarbon canisters，and is equippedwithdualfueltanks.Underdiferent workingconditionssuchaspower-offorpower-onstart-upof theentire vehicle，normal water temperature signal，insuficient methanolbalance，andoil pump failure，theECMwill precisely control componentssuchasthefuel pumptoachieve stablefuelsuply.Methanol vehiclesareof great significancein addresing energyandenvironmental issues.Withthe continuous advancement of technologyand the vigorous promotion of policies，they are expected to become an important part of China's transportation system.
