AbstractThe preventive medicine laboratory，as a key platform for cultivating professional talents， plays an important role in enhancing students' comprehensive literacy in practical innovation，research analysis， emergency response，etc.Itssafety managementis thecore task oflaboratory construction.Thearticle systematicallysummarizes the current situation ofsafety management in preventive medicine laboratories，focusing on the construction of safety system，dynamic admission assessment mechanism， instrument operation training and assessment and emergency response，construction of safety education system，cultivationof safety culture，fullprocess control of hazardous chemicalsand waste disposal，emergencyplan formulation and drils，and other key links.At the same time，it emphasizes the core content of improving the ability of management personnel.
