AbstractWith the rapid development of globalization and informatization，lifelong education has become a key driving force for promoting social progress.Short video technology，as an emerging educational tool， provides an innovative platformand means for lifelong education，demonstrating enormous development potential and practical value.The articleanalyzes the practiceofNingde Open University in integrating short videos with lifelong education， andexplores the important roleofshort videos inimproving the accesibilityand interactivityofeducationalresources， as well as thechalengesofweakened educational atributes，contentquality，creatorcapabilities，anduserstickiess. To improve theapplication efectofshortvideosilifelongeducation， thearticle proposes strategies suchasstrengthening educational atributes，innovating content production，building creative teams，andenhancinguserstickinesstopromote the digital transformation of lifelong education.
