Study on the Role of Positive Psychology in Enhancing College Students' Self Efficacy

AbstractThis studyisbasedontheconceptof "thre-wide education"anduses positivepsychologyasthe theoretical framework todesignand implementthecourse "Positive PsychologyandLife".Throughamixed teaching modeof "theory+practice+action",itexploreseffective waystoenhancecollegestudents'self-efficacyandmentalhealthlevel.The course is designedaround the PERMAmodel,combined with positive psychological groupcounseling,situational simulation,and digital tools.Through paired samplet-testsof pre-andpost psychological scaledatafrom30 undergraduate students, it was found that the course significantly improved students' positive emotions (+16.8%,P<0.01) ) growth thinking (+18.4% ,self-efficacy (+27.0% P<0.001. ,and reduced negative emotions (-22.6% ), verifyingtheefectofteachingreformonstudents'self-effcacy.Thisstudyprovidesareplicableinnovativeparadigm for mental health education for college students.
