Optimization and Reform of the "Six-Side" Comprehensive Internship for Plant Production Majors

AbstractThe "Six-Side" comprehensive internship is a crucial practical component in the undergraduate talent cultivation of plant production majors at Hunan Agricultural University. With the rapid development of modern agricultural technologies，issues such as outdated teaching content，rigid asessment mechanisms，and unbalanced faculty structures have constrained the qualityofcultivating comprehensive talents.To further enhance students'ractical skillsand comprehensive qualities，this paper analyzes the challenges in the current implementation ofthe "Six-Side" internship and proposes optimizationstrategies from four aspects： reconstructing the practical content system，improving the scientific research skils competition system， building a multi-imensional dynamic assessment system，and optimizig the faculty structure.These recommendations aim to provide insights for enhancingthe talent cultivation quality inagricultural disciplines，promote thedeep integration of agricultural education with modem agricultural needs，and offer talent support for rural revitalization and high-quality agricultural development.
