AbstractsWiththe implementation ofthe new college entrance examination policy，biological science majors in local universities arefacing problemssuchasa decrease inadmissionscores，insufficient professional foundations forstudents， andweakemploymentcompetitivenessfor graduates.Inorder toefectivelyaddressthesechallenges，localuniversities should make improvements frommultiple dimensions， including adjusting enrollment strategies，optimizing profeional course oferings，strengthening the construction ofa"dual qualified" teaching team，and enhancing employment guidance for students.Throughthesemeasures，weaim tonhancestudents'employmentcompetitiveness，increasesocialrecogition of their majors，and cultivate talents whocanadapt to industrydevelopment，possess strong hands-on abilities，and innovative thinking.
