Abstract:Exploring theimpactstrawreturming teldsonagriculturalcarbonemissions is helpful toprovideimportant experience for improving thecomprehensiveutilizationlevel strawrealizing thelow-carbon transitionagriculture under the dual-carbon target.Based on the panel data set 3O provinces in China (excluding Hong Kong,Macao,Taiwan Tibet),thelevel strawreturning tieldsthelevelagriculturalcarbonemisions ineachprovincewere measured.Thespatialspillvereffectregional heterogeneitystrawreturming tieldsonagriculturalcarbonemissions wereempirically tested byaspatialeconometric modeling.Theresults demonstrate thatthe strawreturning tields exertsa considerable negative spatial spillverefect onagricultural carbon emissions,thatis,the strawreturning tields can efectively diminishtheintensityagriculturalcarbonemissons withinagivenregioninneighboringregions.However, the influence strawreturming to fieldson agriculturalcarbon emissons varies considerablyacrossdiferent regions,among which,thewestern region exhibits themost pronounced promotion efect onagriculturalcarbon emisionreduction,followed bythecentralregion,theeasternregiondisplaystheleastsignificantefect.Therefore,itisimperativethatthefull potential carbon sinks from straw returning to fields should bereleased,therole policyguidance should beactively strengthened,interprovincial exchanges cooperation should be promoted, the advantages each regionshould be fullleveraged inaccordance withlocalconditions,soastoadvancethegreenlow-carbondevelopmentagriculture.
