Abstract：Rillingsuppresion isan importantpartofagriculturalland preparation，theeficiencyof itsquipmentoperation ffects theoutputoftheentireagricultural process.Atpresent，thelevelofagricultural mechanization in Chinaislow， thereisahuge demandfortheuseofridging machines.Thearticlefirstlyintroduces threetypesofridging equipment， whicharedivided intorotaryploughing ridging，furowridginganddiscridging，pointsoutitsworking principleand application scope，andsummarizes its advantages and disadvantages.Then it summarizes the research status of ridging machineat homeandabroad，and pointsoutthatthe domestic ridging machine hasconsiderableroom for improvement. Secondly，it summarizes the research progressofdomestic compactioncomponents，and some scholars propose hydraulic suppression，electrically driven suppression，vibratory suppressionand other suppresson methods to compact the ridges， which havecertainoptimizationefect.However，therearemostlysome issues，including thesubstandardoperation quality，loweficiency，unsystematicresearchand developmentof machinery，and insuffcientadaptabilityof ridging machine，and the suggestionsare put forward incombinationwith theproblems，including the optimization of the structuraldesignof the machinery，aelerating theapplicationof thenew typeofsuppressionmethod，and improvingthe workingefficiencyofridgingmachine，etc.Inthefuture，itisnecessarytoenhancetheintegrationof inteligentcontrol technologywith traditionalridging machines，create diferentiatedandpersonalized demands，andfocusonenergy conservation and emission reduction design.
