Abstract：Asanefectivetoolforoptimizingresourceallocationandnarowing theeconomicdividebetwen urbanandrural areas，digital inclusivefinanceprovidesanewdevelopmentdynamicforachieving commonprosperity.Agricultural mechanizationcontributes toimprovingruralincome levels bypromotingbothfarmers’business incomeand wageearnings.This paperconductedaquantitativeanalysisusingcity-leveldatafrom2Oll—2022toexaminehowdigitalfinancialinclusion promotesagriculturalmechanizationand，inturn，dvances thegoalofcommonprosperity.Theresultsrevealedthatthecoficient of digital financial inclusion remains negative at the 1% significance level，which indicates that digital financial inclusion can reduce the urban-ruralincomegap，andthisconclusion stillheldtrueevenafterrobustnesschecks.Furtheranalysisshowedthattheeffect of digitalfinancialinclusiononcommonwealthwasmorepronouncedinregions withhigherlevelsofmarketization，thaninegions withlowerlevelsofmarketisation，aswellasinregionswithhigherorlowerlevelsofdigitalinfrastructure，comparedtothose with moderateinfrastructure.Regionaly，theimpactwasstrongerintheeastenandwestepartsofChinathaninthecentralregion， withintergroupvariabilitytestsconfirmingsignificant diferences acrossthese groups.Transmisionmechanismtestsdemonstrated thatthelaggedefectsofdigitalfinancialinclusiononagriculturalmechanization（byoneandtwoperiods）werebothsignificantly positive，withcoeficientsofO.21oandO.253，respectively.Thisindicatedthatagriculturalmechanizationplaysanimportant roleasakeychannelthrough whichdigitalfinancialinclusionhelpsnarowtheurban-ruralgap.Basedonthesefindings，the studyrecommendsenhancingdigitalinfrastructure，buildingregion-specificframeworksforinclusivedigitalfinance，advancing agricultural mechanization，and reducing urban-rural disparities toachieve theoverarching goalof common prosperity.
