辣椒双苗盘交替取投苗装置设计与试验

Abstract:Toaddress thechallengesofloweficiencyandfrequentfailureinseedlingpickinganddroppnginfully automaticchili pepper transplanting machines,analternating seedling pickingand dropping devicewas developed based onanejector-picker combination method.The device was designed to work with double sedling trays,enabling the alternating picking of entiresedling rows and batch-wise dropping.Thispaperoutlined thestructuralcompositionand working principles of the device.To ensure minimal seedling damage,the required clamping forceforseedling extraction was analyzedand defined.Theoretical and simulation analyses were conducted to study sedling motion trajectories.To validate the effectiveness of the developeddevice,experimental tests were conductedusing pepper seedlings.The experiments considered three main factors:average frequency of seedling picking and dropping,seding growth duration,and the moisture content of theseedling bowl.Thekeyresponse indicators included the seedling picking sucess rate,seedling dropping success rate,combined picking and dropping success rate,and the rate of damaged seedlings.Athree-factorandthree-levelorthogonal experiment wasconducted todeterminetheoptimalcombinationof operating conditions. The results showed that the seedlings picking success rate reached 96.82% ,the dropping success rate was 95.00% ,the rate of damaged seedlings was 0.91% ,and the combined picking and dropping success rate was 94.09% .These results met the performance requirements for high-speed transplanting operations.The findings offera reliable referencefor thedesign and development of eficient automatic seedling picking and dropping mechanisms.
