Abstract:Weding isanimportant link infruit tree management.Timelyandefective weedremoval isconducivetoreducing orchard pestanddiseaseinfection,improvingfruit yieldandfruitquality,andincreasing orchardeconomic benefits. Mechanical weeding has thecharacteristicsof low energyconsumption,safety,high efficiencyandgreen environmental protection,which are thecurent research hotspot and the direction of fruit tree management.Thispaper reviews and summarizes thecurent research status of weder at home and abroad from the aspects of suspension traction type,selfwalkingcaterpilartypeand intellgenttype,andexpoundstheresearchprogressofkeycomponentssuchascutting deviceandcopying deviceoforchardweeding equipment,aswellas innovativebreakthroughs in key technologies such as navigationand obstacle avoidance.There are some problems in China’sorchard mechanical weeding equipment,such as poor integration ofagricultural machineryandagronomy,low level ofR&Dand manufacturing,low degreeof intellgentmechanization,andinsuffcientapplicationofhighandnewtechnology.Itispointedoutthatthedevelopment ofagriculturalmachineryandagronomicintegration technology isanimportant driving force topromotetheaplication upgradeofintellgentwedingequipmentandimprovethemanagementleveloforchards,anditisclearthatChina’s intellgent weeding robot is enteringaperiodofrapid development,anditis alsoa keyopportunityfor China to quicklyfollow up theinterationalleading technology.This provides suggestionsfortechnological innovation,performanceimprovementand equipment research and development of orchard weeding machinery in China.
