Abstract:Inorder to explore theglobal development trends incorn germ oilapplications,thisstudyconductedan indepth analysisusing bibliometric methods and data from the incoPat patent database.Itexamined structural diferences incorngermoiltechnologicallayoutsbetween Chinaandtheinternationalcommunityfrommultiple dimensions,including temporal development trends,marketdistribution,technical fielddistribution,patent value assessment,andthecharacteristicsofresearchanddevelopmentinstitutions.Theresearchresultsrevealedthat current globalcorn germoilutilizationtechnologieshaveentereda matureand stable stage,withthe United Statesand China emergingastheprimarysourcesof innovation.Coretechnologiesareconcentratedinthe InternationalPatentClassfcation (IPC) categories A61K,A61P,C07D and A61Q, highlighting strong technological advantages in organic synthetic chemistryandmedicalhealth-relatedapplications,aswellasarelativelyhighsharedvalue.Developedcountriesin EuropeandNorth America holda significantlyhigherproportionof internationalpatents,andleadingresearchand developmentinstitutions,witha strongconcentrationin high value-addedfieldssuchasbiopharmaceuticals.Incontrast, Chinalags behind intermsofinternatioal patentlayout,thedevelopmentof high-valuepatents,andthecultivatioof key enterprises.Therefore,itwasdemednecessaryforChinatostrengthen theresearchanddevelopmentofcore technologies,improveitstechnological reservesystem,raisestrategicawarenessoftheinternational market,and optimize global patent distribution through the PCT system.The study recommends building demonstration platforms for patentindustrialization,enhancingcollaborationamongindustry,academia,andresearchinstitutions,and comprehensively advancing the high-value development of the entire corn germ oil industry chain.
