Abstract:Toasssstheeffectsof differentconditioners onhumificationand nutritioncontentduring theco-compostingof vegetable waste biogas residue and sheep manure,this study employed aerobic composting using three types of conditioners:cornstraw,corncoband wheat straw.Thecomposting performance was evaluated by monitoring key indices throughout the composting process.Theresultsindicated that all three conditioners efectively promoted the aerobic composting. The composting process featured a high-temperature phase lasting 7 to ,with moisture content ranging from 24.2% to 29.9% , ΔpH around 7.8,electrical conductivity (EC)between 2.4 and (20 cm,germination index (GI) ranging from 87.1% to 98.3% ,organic matter content between 65.0% and 71.6% ,and total nutrient content ranging from 6.7% to 7.9% . Compared to wheat straw,both corn straw and corn cob improved the humification coefficient(HR)and humification index(HI)of the composting pile tovarying degres, significantly increasing humic substance content.Among the treatments,the corncob group achieved thehighest humic substance content (72.67g/kg) ,with an aggregation degree(DP)of 71.73% and a humic acid proportion (PHA) of 31.11% . In summary,both corn straw and corn cob are effective conditioners for co-composting vegetable waste biogas residue and sheep manure,with corn straw showing the best overall performance.
