Abstract： In the era of smart library，the service content for readers is more focused on knowledge service. Librarians should change their roles.They should not only act as the provider of knowledgeliterature，but also have the ability toedit the knowledge content ofthe library.After absorbing the knowledge oflibrarycollection literature， they can package it and provide it to readers，saving them the time of searching data and colating and summarizing， so asto helpreaders apply theoryto practicefaster.Based on the above conclusion，this paper discusses the knowledge service of today's university smart ibrary from several aspects to improve the service level of university library.
