Exploration into the Improvement of Communication Networks in the Construction of Informationized Railways

Abstract： In the construction of railway informatization，the improvement of communication network is crucial. Due to thecontinuous expansionof the construction scope of China's railway communication network，the total length of railway lines has reached nearly l6oooo kilometers.Inaddition，therailway communication network is closely related to the travel routes of diferent trains.Therefore，only byimproving thecommunication network canthe normal application ofrailway communication network services be guaranteed and the overallayout of railways be further optimized.Therailway department can enhance the security and protection efectivenessof therailwaycommunication network by strengthening communication network management，and improve thequalityof information constructionof the railway communication network.To ensure acuratetransmissionoftrain operationdataand ensure safe train operation，this article discusses how to improve the communication network in the construction of information-based railways.
