Abstract： With the rapid development of digital technology，the importance of digital media technology in the protection and dissmination of cultural heritage is increasingly prominent.Among various technological means， digital media technology has become an important driving force inthe fields of ancient architecture protection and cultural dissemination dueto its unique advantages.This article focuses onthe application ofdigital media technology， exploring its precise restorationand real-time monitoring strategies inthe protectionof ancient buildings，as wellas its virtual displayand diverse narative paths in cultural dissemination，inorder to provide new ideasand theoretical support for the sustainable protection of ancient buildings and the dissemination of cultural values.
