Exploring AI-Empowered Pathways for English Teaching in Higher Vocational Education

Abstract: This paper explores AI-empowered pathways for English teaching in higher Vocational education from four aspects: analyzing the challenges in English teaching and the necesity of AI empowerment; constructing AIenhanced teachingapplication scenarios from five dimensions—teaching,learning,management,assessment,and research; proposing five implementation pathways—platform construction,model innovation,resource development, literacy enhancement and evaluation restructuring; and examining the challenges and countermeasures of AI empowerment.Thestudy plans to provide insights for promoting digital,intelligent,personalizedand efficient innovative practices in higher vocational English teaching.

国务院《“十四五”数字经济发展规划》明确提出:深入推进智慧教育,构建高质量教育支持体系,推动“互联网 + 教育”持续健康发展[1;2024世界数字教育大会发布“人工智能赋能教育发展”倡议:推动人工智能与教育的深度融合,促进教育创新发展,提升师生素养;教育部等九部门《关于加快推进教育数字化的意见》指出:推动课程、教学数字化变革,深化教育大模型应用,推动教学体系智能化升级,将人工智能技术融入教育教学全要素全过程[2]。(剩余4684字)
