Abstract： This paper explores the application of digital technologies inthe integration of traditional culture and ideological and political education.Byutilizing digital technologies suchas virtual realityand AIGC，it promotes the seamless integration of excellent traditional Chinese cultureand ideological and political education forcollege students，soas to give play to therole of culture in nourishing the mind and cultivating sentiment，cultivate the spiritual temperamentofcolege students，and enhance the cultural identityand the effectivenessof ideological and political education.
