Abstract： Accurately monitoring land surface runoffis crucial for strengthening water resource management， flood controland disasterreduction，and ecological environment protection.However，traditional runoff monitoring methods rely on field measurements and limited meteorological station data， which often make it difficult to fully coverlarge areasand have shortcomings inspatialcontinuityand temporalresolution.Toaddresstheabovechallnges， thisarticle takes the actual monitoring area asan exampleand elaborates onthe aplication pointsof ArcGIS geographic informationsysteminregionalmonitoringoflandsurfacerunoffromfouraspects：datacollection，surfacerunoffsimulation preprocessing，etc.，inorder to provide technicalsupport for the refined managementofland surface runoff in China.
