Abstract： Digital and image processing technologies havehada profound impact on video production.This article conducts research on video production based on digital image processing technology：frstly，theconcept and principles of digital image processing technology are introduced. Secondly，its key technologies and applications in video production are elaborated，including video preprocessing and enhancement，ideo special effectsandanimation，video analysis and editing，etc.Applicationcases in diferent types ofvideo production are also listed.Finally，the prospects and developmenttrendsofthistechnologyinvideoproductionarediscussed，involving theintegrationofartificial inteligence，virtual realityandother technologies，inorder toprovide referenceand inspiration forresearchersand practitioners in related fields.
