Abstract：OnMay28，2O18，theStateCouncil Information Oficeof thePeople'sRepublicofChinareleasedtheresearch findingsofthe"ProjectontheOriginsofChineseCivilization"，pointingoutthat"around5，8OOyearsago，signsofcivilizatioorigin emergedinregionssuchas themiddleandlowerreachesoftheYelowRiver，themidleandlowerreachesof theYangtzeRivr，and theWestLiaoRiverBasin".AsanimportantcomponentandoneoftheoriginsofChinesecivlization，theWestLiaoRiverCivilizationhasprovidedcucialaterialevidenceandtheoreticalsupportforthesudyonegin，forationnddevelopmentofCinse civilization.TheWestLiaoRiverBasinisaistoricalwiesstoeexchanges，nteractions，andintegrationamongvariousethnic groups，andtustheWestLiaoRiverCivilizationbarsspecialsignificanceinexploingthehistoricalprocessofCinesecivilation co-createdbymultipleethnicgroups.Adoptingthemetodsoffield investigationanddocumentaryresearch，thispaperconductsa studyontheconept，culturalconotationandpracticalvalueoftheWestLiaoRiver Civilzation.Froma"comprehensivehistorical" perspective，itarifistevelopmentalcourseoftheWestLiaiverCvlatn，mpallverifiesthonptof"Cieiilizationco-createdbymultiplethnicgroups"，ndprovidesprofoundhistoricalbasisandpracticalideasforforgingastrongsenseof community for the Chinese nation in the contemporary era.
