Abstract：AsadistinctivefolkartforminYiyang CityHunanProvince，Meishan ShadowPuppetryservesasanimportantcarierofHuxiangculture.Thisstudysystematicallytracesthehistoricaloriginsandproduction techniquesofshadowpuppetrythrough twoin-depthinterviewswithZhuLong，aprovincial-levelintangibleculturalheritageiheritorofYiyangShadowPuppryinChina's HunanProvince，combinedwithfieldinvestigations.ThepaperfocusesonhowinheritorsrepresentedbyZhuLonghaveevitalized thisancientartthroughinnovativetransforationsoftraditioalpatesinthecontemporaryulturalcontextTersearchsests thatthemoderninheritancepathofshadowpuppetrymanifestsasaparadigmshiftfrom"familysecretransmisson"to"publicdissemination"，withitscoreinnovationlyingin"patereconstruction"—thatis，comprehensivemoderadaptationsofpuppetdesigns，performancecontentandommunicationmediawhilepreservingcoretechniquesandculturalsene.Tisstudystopro vide valuable case references for the living inheritance of intangible cultural heritage.
