Utility analysis of impact of agricultural machinery service outsourcing on the total factor productivity of grain： An analysis from the perspective of the multiple cropping index of cultivated land

Abstract：Exploring the impact efectand interal mechanism of agricultural machinery serviceoutsourcing on grain total factorproductivityisof great significancefor ensuring nationalfoodsecurityandbuilding modern grain industry system. Basedon theprovincialdata from20llto 2022，thispaperconstructeda bi-directional fixedeffect modelandan intermediary effect modelto studythedirect efectofagricultural machinery serviceoutsourcingongrain total factor productivity，aswellastheindirectmechanisminfluencethroughthecultivatedlandmultiplecroppingindex.Theresults showedthatagricultural machineryserviceoutsourcing notonly directly promoted the total factor productivityof grain，but also indirectly improved the total factorproductivityof grain by inereasing the multiple croppng index ofcultivated land， and the proportion of indirect effect accounted for 19.2% .Inareaswith higher average educationlevel of rural residents andhigher land transferrate，agricultural machinery serviceoutsourcing has a more significantpromoting efect ongrain totalfactorproductivity.Therefore，policysuggestionsareproposed toactively promote and developagricultural machinery service outsourcing，give fullplay tothe promoting effect of agricultural machinery serviceoutsourcing on the cultivatedlandmultiplecropping index，improvetheeducation levelofruralresidents，establishamature land transfer market and etc.
