机器色选和磁选参数对加工棉种质量及经济效益影响

Abstract:To explore theeffectsof machinecolor sortingand magnetic separation parameters on thequalityand economic benefits of processed coton seeds,diferent color sortingaccuracies,as wellas particlesizes anddosages of iron powder inthe magnetic separation process,were set up on a cotton seed processng production line for cotton seed procesing. Indicators including lOO-seed weight,germination potential,germinationrate,germination index,vigor index,andsed lossratewere used to investigate the impactsof diferent color sortingaccuracies,ironpowder particle sizes,and iron powder dosages on cottn seed quality and economic benefits respectively.The test results showed that during the color sorting process,under the Grade II color sorting accuracy,the seed germination ratesreached 94% and 92.33% (204 respectively,and the vigor indices reached86.56and75.89 respectively.In termsof iron powder particlesize,the M3 (20 grade(200-mesh iron powder)showed the most significant improvement inseed germination vigor after magnetic separation the seed germination rates after magnetic separation with M3 grade iron powder particle size were 94.0% and 94.75% respectively,which were 4.99% and 4.44% higher than those with M1 grade iron powder particle size,and (20 3.84% and 1.81% higher than those with M2 grade iron powder particle size. Regarding iron powder dosage,the W3 (204号 grade iron powder dosage(1: 4O) had the most significant efect on improving seed vigor;under the ΔW3 grade iron powder dosage, the seed germination rates reached 97.0% and 95.25% respectively,and the germination potential was significantly increased by 5,81% and 3.79% respectively compared with seeds after magnetic separation with W2 grade iron powderdosage.Under the premise of balancing seedqualityand enterpriseeconomicbenefits in cotton seed processing,it is advisable to select Grade I color sorting accuracy,combined with either M3 grade iron powder particle size or W3 grade iron powder dosage.
