Abstract：Basedonthebalanced panel dataof3OChinese provinces from2Ollto2O23，this paper empiricallyexamines theimpactof digitalruralconstructiononthequalityoffarmers’income，theinfluencing mechanismand thespatial spillovereffectsbyconstructingthemediationeffectmodel，thresholdregresionmodel，fixedeffectmodelandspatial Durbinmodel.Theresultsshow thatdigitalruralconstructioncansignificantlyimprove thequalityoffarmers'income. Theintegrationofrural primaryandtertiary industriesplaysa mediatingroleintheimprovementof farmers'income qualitybydigitalruralconstruction.Thereisadoublethresholdefectofagriculturalindustrialagglomerationinthe improvementoffarmers'incomequalitybydigitalruralconstruction.Moreover，comparedwiththedigitalizationof production，circulationandliving services，the digitalization of environment andoperation has a greater impactonthe improvementoffarmers'incomequalty.Theefectof digital ruralconstructiononthe improvementoffarmers’ ncome qualityshowsregional heterogeneity，withthecentralregionbeing strongerthantheeasternandwesternregions，and the southernregion being strongerthanthe northern region.Spatialeconometricanalysis shows that thereisa significant positivespatial spilloverefectof digital ruralconstructionon theimprovementoffarmers'incomequality.Theresearch conclusions havecertainimplications for promoting digital ruralconstructionin Chinaandpromoting the transformationof farmers’ income improvement from quantitative change to qualitative change.
