Analysis of the Role of Weather Modification Operations in Meteorological Disaster Prevention and Reduction

Abstract Meteorological disasters can have a huge impact on human society and economy， and artificial weather modification operations can to some extent change and regulate weather conditions， reduce disaster risks， and mitigate disaster losses. Analyzed the role of artificial weather modification operations in preventing floods， controlling storms and typhoons， reducing hail hazards， and increasing precipitation in arid areas， and explored measures such as improving meteorological monitoring capabilities， enhancing weather forecast accuracy， improving climate simulation and prediction capabilities， and establishing a sound disaster monitoring and early warning system， in order to provide scientific support for improving disaster prevention and reduction capabilities.

摘要 气象灾害会对人类社会和经济造成巨大的影响，而人工影响天气作业在一定程度上可以改变和调节天气状况，降低灾害风险和减轻灾害损失。（剩余5905字）
