Research on the Planting Methods and Technical Points of Afforestation for Sand Prevention and Control

Abstract With the impact of global climate change and human activities， sand prevention problems such as desertification and sandstorms were becoming increasingly serious. The frequent occurrence of sandstorms had brought serious impact to human life and ecological environment， and caused huge losses to farmland， forests， cities and other areas. Therefore， it was of great strategic significance to prevent and control desertification. Among the various methods of desertification prevention and control， afforestation was considered to be an effective and sustainable means. Through the reasonable allocation and management of the forest belt， it can effectively reduce the sand erosion， protect the ecological environment， improve the living environment， and play an important economic and social benefits. This paper introduced the importance and challenges of desertification control， emphasized the significance and advantages of afforestation in desertification control， put forward the allocation methods and technical points of desertification control and afforestation， and expounded the specific contents of the maintenance and restoration work of established forest belts， so as to provide reference for relevant staff.
