Current Status of Efficient Water-Saving Irrigation Technology in Agriculture

—Taking the Gaotai County Area as An Example

Abstract At present, the water consumption of agricultural activities is larger. The previous irrigation methods have problems such as water resources waste, soil salinization, ecological environment damage and so on, which need to be solved urgently. The existing practice showed that the high efficiency water-saving irrigation technology in agricultural activities is better. Through refined water management, agricultural efficient water-saving irrigation technology can maximize the utilization efficiency of water resources, so that water can be accurately supplied to the roots of crops, thus minimizing water evaporation and loss. Compared with the traditional panirrigation and excessive irrigation, agricultural efficient water-saving irrigation technology can more accurately meet the water demand of crops, and ensure that the key stage of crop growth is not affected by water shortage or excess. This paper expounded the current situation of agricultural efficient water-saving irrigation technology, analyzed the types of water-saving irrigation technology, and discussed the key points of water-saving irrigation technology methods for reference.
