Abstract Meteorological services belong to public services and had a significant impact on agricultural disaster prevention and reduction. In recent years， with the improvement of science and technology level， China’s meteorological services were developing towards the direction of intelligence and high efficiency. Through the optimization and adjustment of the agricultural production structure in various regions， a modern agricultural production pattern has been formed， which can effectively reduce the economic losses caused by natural disasters to agriculture. This article mainly elaborated on the connotation and application forms of meteorological services， analyzed the role and current situation of meteorological services in agricultural disaster prevention and reduction， and formulated reasonable application strategies， striving to effectively utilize the application value of meteorological services in agricultural disaster prevention and reduction through various application methods.
