Empirical Study on the "One Body, Two Wings" Teaching of Foreign Language Courses in Public Security Colleges

AbstractObjective: To break through the traditional teaching mode of foreign language courses in public security colleges and constructan inovative teaching mode thatconforms to the currnt trend ofeducation reform,namely the "one body,two wings"teaching mode.Method: Bycombining online learning platforms withofline interactive teaching, the leaming progress of the experimental group students (using "one body, two wings" teaching)and the control group students (using traditional teaching mode)was tracked.SPSS19.0statisticalsofware was usedtoanalyze thedifference in final test scores between the two groups of students. Result: The average finaltest scores of the experimental group students mproved significantly,andtheir leaming outcomes weresignificantly higherthan thoseofthecontrol group. Conclusion: The "one body,two wings" teaching method has significant advantages in improving students' language proficiency,self-leamingability,andcross-culturalcommunicationability,and issuitable for therefomofforeign language curriculum teaching in public security colleges.
