AbstractAgainst the backdrop of healthcare industry transformation and increasing demand for primary healthcare services,vocational medicaleducation is crucial for cultivating applied primary healthcare talents.Thearticle focuses on the value and application strategies of clinical diagnostic thinking in higher vocational medical education.By comparing higher vocationaleducation with undergraduate and graduate medicaleducation,the unique valueofhigher vocational education is clarified.Teachers can adopt teaching strategies such as case guidance,simulated diagnosis and treatment, group case discussons,andthe introduction ofremote medicalresoures to effectively enhance the clinical diagnostic thinking abilityof vocational medical students,and provide professional talents with solid diagnostic thinking for thegrasroots medicalindustry,highlighting thekeyroleofvocational medicaleducationinthecultivation of grassroots medical talents.
