Research on Teaching Strategies of Junior High School Chinese Novel Reading Based on Situational Teaching Method

AbstractIn middle school Chinese reading teaching, novels are loved by students due to their dramatic plots and vivid character images. At the same time, in recent years,the frequency of novels appearing in Chinese reading questions for the middle school entrance examination has been increasing.However,some middle school students find it diffcult to deeplyunderstand the connotations of novel texts when reading novels,andsome teachers overly relyon textbooks when conducting novel reading teaching,resulting in a lack of individuality in text interpretation and por teaching efectiveness.With the implementation of the "Compulsory Education Chinese Curriculum Standards (2020 Edition)",situational teaching method has been increasinglyvaluedbyteachers.Thisarticlefocuses onthe application of situational teaching method in middle school Chinese novel reading teaching.
