AbstractTheMinistryofEducation,GuangdongProvince,GuangzhouCityandSouthChinaUniversityofTechnology jointlyestablishedtheSouth China Universityof Technology Guangzhou IntermationalCampus,focusingoncuting-edge disciplinesandaimingtocultivate leading talents innew engineeringdisciplines.Inorder toadapttotheconstructionofnew engineerngdisciplines,GuangzhouIntermationalCampushascariedoutcurrculumreforms inlinearalgebraandanalytic geometry.On the basis ofanalyzing the teaching content andcurrent situation of thiscourse,aswellas the important applicationof inear transformations inthefieldofnewenginering,thearticle proposes thatthe teachingoflinearalgebra andanalyticgeometryshouldattchimportancetolineartransformations.Finalythroughteachingdemonstrations,itis shown that teaching thiscourse with linear transformations as the mainline is not only necessrybut also feasible.
