Practice of Process Control Course Reform Guided by Intelligent Manufacturing Competition

AbstractThe article explores the teaching reform and practice of process controlcourses under the guidance of the Intelligent Manufacturing Competition (Siemens Cup China Intellgent Manufacturing Challenge). By analyzing the characteristics of the Intelligent Manufacturing Challenge and its implications for process control course teaching, a framework for theoretical teaching and experimental reform based on the Intelligent Manufacturing Competition is constructed.The results show that integrating the Inteligent Manufacturing Competition into processcontrol courses canenhance students'understandingoffoundational knowledgeand improve their practical skils.Additionally,the article elaborates on the applicationofthe SMPT-10 processcontrol system,used in the process-related segmentof the Intelligent Manufacturing Competition,in experimental teaching,and demonstrates the outcomes ofthereformed teachingapproach.The article provides new ideaand practical example for the reform of engineering education curricula, offering guidance for cultivating high-quality talent to meet the demands of intelligent manufacturing.
