Research on Large Unit Teaching of Junior High School Physics Based on Disciplinary Core Competencies

AbstractThis study explores the largeunit teaching model of junior high school physics based on disciplinary core competencies,and analyzes its application and advantages in physics teaching.The study points out thatthrough the integrationof physical knowledge and the emphasison scientific inquiryand interdisciplinary thinking,large unit teaching can promote students'understanding of physics,innovative ability,and practical problem-solvingability. Through specific teaching cases, the study demonstrates how this model effectively cultivates students' critical thinking,experimentalability,and spiritofcooperation.However,in practice,somechallenges havealso been encountered,suchasdifferences instudents'foundationalknowledge,resourceconstraints,andasingleevaluation method.Tofurther improveteachingeffectiveness,itisrecommended tooptimizeresourceallocation,adoptdiversified evaluationmethods,andstrengthen teachers'profesionaldevelopment.Theresearchofthis paperprovides theoretical support and practical reference for the teaching reform of junior high school physics.
