AbstractThis research deeply explores the teachingreform path ofthe steel structurecourse basedontheconceptof Outcome-BasedEducation（OBE）.FirstlyitxpondstheoremeaningoftheOBEconcept.Subsequentlyitalthe necesity of the teaching reformof the steel structurecourse under the backgroundof emerging enginering education， pointingoutthatthetraditionalteachingmodeisdificulttomeetthecurrentrequirementsfortheinnovationand practical abilitiesofengieengtalents.Totsendiesofforstategiesareproposedincuingotingteacingecties toconstructacharacteristiccuiculumknowledgesystem，innovatingtheteachingmodetoralizetheconstructionofigqualitycurriculumteachingresources，adhering tomoraleducationandactively integratingtheelementsofideologicaland political education intothecurriculum，andstrengthening practicaloperations topromote theconstructionofascholenterprisecooperationpracticeplatform.Throughtheimplementationofthesereformmeasures，itisexpectedtoimprovethe teachingqualityandcultivatemore outstanding engineering talents with practical abilitiesandinnovative spirits.
