Variation characteristics of climate resources during the growth period of early-maturing cotton in Huanggang City

Abstract：Theclimaticresourcessuchastemperatureandrainfallduring thegrowthperiodofearly-maturingcotton in Huanggang City，HubeiProvince，froml990to2O19wereanalyzedinordertorevealthechangesofclimaticresourcesduringthegrowthperiodof early-maturingcotoninthisarea，andtoprovideascientificbasisforthebredingandmanagementtechiquesofearly-maturingottoninHuanggngCity，soastolayafoundationforthepromotionofearlymaturingcottoninHuanggangCity.Theresultssowedthat from1990to2O19，inthesowingemergencestageofarlyaturingcoton，theainfallwasmoderateandtheprobabilityofraill washigh，whichwassuitableforentropy-controledmachinesowingandconducivetoachievingfullsedingemergenceatonesowing. Thetemperatureintheemergence-floweringandflowering-bollopening stages washigherthanthatof thesowing-emergence stage andbollpening-harveststage，andtherainfallwasmore，butwiththepassageoftime，therainfallinthetostagesshowedadecreasingtrendFromthbollopeningstagetothestopgrowthstage，therainfallwaslessandtherainfallprobabilitywaslow.Basedon theclimaticcharacteristicsofHuanggangCity，itwassugestedthatarly-aturingcotonvarieties withhightemperatureresistance andhighdensityresistanceshouldbeselectedinHuangangCity.ThesowingtimeshouldnotbelaterthanJune5，andtheintegration of agricultural machinery and agronomy should be emphasized.
