Abstract：Guiua62wasanewpeanutvarietybredbycrossing wildpeanut germplasmArachisdoigoi，withcultivated peanut（ArachishypogaeaL.）ZhongkaiuaN.4，Zhanyou75，nd“21-856"throughinterspecifichbridizationandintra-specifichbridization，combinedwithmultiplegenerationsofdirectionalselectionandpedigreebreedingmethod.Theresultsshowedthat，inthejoint trial of new peanut varieties in Guangxi from 2O19 to 2O2O，the average pod yield of Guihua 62 was 3350.93kg/hm2 ，and the average seed yield was 2 229.30kg/hm2 ，which increased by 1.40% and 4.82% respectively compared to the control Guihua 21;the crude fat content was 54.80% ，and the protein content was 24.80% ；theweight of one hundred fruitswas169.6 g ，withafillingrateof 78.2% theweightofonehundredkernelswas61.2g，withakernelyieldof6.8%.AcordingtoSSRmolecularmarkerdetection，4outof15 pairsof SSR primersamplifieduniquebandsof wildpeanutparents inGuihua62.Insummary，Guihua 62hadhighoil，high yield， stableproduction，moderateresistancetobacterialwiltandust，strongdroughtesistance，wideadaptabilityandexcelenomp hensiv traits，andwascloselyrelated towildpeanut.Itwasregisteredasanonmajorcrop（peanut）bythestate in2O2Oandwassuitable for promotion and planting in peanut production areas in Guangxi.
