Abstract:Thephosporusadsorptioncharacteristicsofsedimentsindiferentunitsofthefield-ditch-pondsystemandtheinfluence of phosphorusoccurrenceformsonadsorptioncharacteristicsweresystematicallanalyzedthrough phosphorusadsorptiontest.Theresults showedthat theLangmuirisothermmodelaccuratelydescrbedphosporusadsorption.Fieldsoilsexhibitedstablephosphorusadsorption,whilepondandditchsedimentsshowedconsiderablevariability,withsomepondsitespresentingahighriskofphosphorus release.Phosphorusoccurrncefomsanalysisrevealedthat higherorganicphosporuscontentcorrelatedwithloweradsorptioncpacity.Significantchangesinphosphorusadsorptioncapacitywereobservedbeforeandafterriceplanting,withditchsedimentdsoption notablyincreasingduringthericegrowingperiodandfieldsoiladsorptionfurtherenhancingaftericeharvestRationalmanagementof fields,ditches and ponds could mitigate phosphorus release and help reduce agricultural non-point source polution.
