Identification of Fusarium head blight resistance and screening of elite germplasm in 60 wheat varieties(lines)

Abstract:Inordertoscreenexcellntwheat(TriticumaestiumL.)germplasmresourcesresistanttoFusariumheadblight(FHB), theFHBresistancelevelsof6Owheatvarieties(lines)includingthecontrolvarieties wereevaluatedusingsingle-floretinjectionand soil-surface inoculation methods.Sumai3(highlyresistant,HR),Yangmai158(moderatelyresistant,MR),andAnong 8455 (highlysusceptible,HS)servedascontrolvarieties.Atotalof2highresistantvarieties,7medium-resistantvarieties,3Omedium susceptiblevarietisand21ighsusceptiblevarietieswerescreenedout.Furthermore,theagronomictraitsofwheatvarieties(lines) withresistancelevelsfmoderatelysusceptible(MS)andabovewereinvestigated.Atotalof16eliteheatvarietis(ines)withsuperioragronomictraitsandresistancetoFusarimheadblight,suchasNei403,Chuanmai45,W2,andXinong9871,weresreed out,which provided reliable parental sources for new cultivars breeding.

小麦(TriticumaestivumL.)赤霉病(Fusariumheadblight,FHB)是由禾谷镰刀菌(Fusariumgra-minearum)和亚洲镰刀菌(Fusariumasiaticum)引起的气传病害[],在小麦全生育期均可为害,以穗期为害最严重,地势低洼、排水不畅、土壤黏重、偏施氮肥的地块发病较重。(剩余6390字)
