Characteristics and countermeasures of main meteorological disasters in the tea-growing area of Xiangyang City

Abstract:Basedonthedailymeteorologicalobservationdataof3nationalmeteorologicalstationsintheteagrowingareaof Xiangyang Cityfroml960to2O24,thecharacteriticsofltespringcoldnessandhightemperature,whchwerethemain meteorologicaldisastersduringthegrowthperiodoftheteatreeintheteagrowingarea,wereanalyzed.Thresultsindicatedthateoccurrencefre quencyoflate springcoldness inthetea-growingareaof Xiangyang Citywas mainlyOto3timeseach year,andthecumulativedays weremainlyOto1Odaysperyear.TheprobabilityfrequencyandcumulativedurationoflatespringcoldnesswerethehighestinBaokangCounty,followedbyNanzhangCounty,andthelowestinGucheng County.Fromtheperspectiveofoccurrence tie,itmainly happened frommid-MarchtoarlyAprilamongwhichtheoccurrnceprobabilitywasthehighestinarlyApril.Theanualavrage numberofhigh-temperaturedaysinthetea-growingareaof Xiangyang Citywas 2O.7,andthatofextremelyhotdays was6.6.Bothof themwerethe mostin Baokang County,folowedbyGucheng Countyand theleastinNanzhang County.High-temperatureevents mainlyccuredfromJunetoAugust,withthemostinJuly.Toaddressthesemeteorologicaldisasters,testudyproposedcountereasuressuchasestablishngstandardizedteaproductiongardens toenhanceresilenceagainstmeteorologicalhazards;strengthengpre cisemeteorologicalmonitoring inteagardensandproviding targetedservicesfordisasterprevention;anddevelopingandpromoting meteorological index-based insurance for tea to provide risk resilience protection for tea production.
